Roscoe and Daisy are my two wonderful Basset Hounds. They own my heart, seem to run the house and have me wrapped around their paws! I couldn't imagaine my life without them!

Roscoe who turned 4 last fall (06') and he was our first Basset Hound. Wow did we learn a lesson or two about Bassets the hard way! They do not just lay on the couch all day looking adorable! We rescued him from the pound in Arizona with the guidance of a great guy who worked there named Doug. With his help and the help of the Arizona Basset Hound Rescue what to expect from a Basset Hound and some great training tips, not only for the dog but for us. Shortly after that we adopted Daisy, who came to us at 7 weeks old, again our friend Doug introduced us to this precious baby who was also rescued.

We decided that Roscoe would do better with a playmate so Daisy was Roscoe's Christmas present and the two are now the best of friends! With the help of Arizona Basset Hound Rescue we learned more about their behavior and how to care for them. We liked the group so much that we became volunteers.
